Every contact with a registrar/student should be seen as a training opportunity. To ensure that the required training takes place, training should be planned according to the setting and time available. When conducting the training emphasis should be place on the 4Cs namely Connect, Clarify, Conduct and Conclude. In this workshop participants will receive some theoretical information and participate in planning a training session based on outcomes. Clinical training is also an ideal opportunity to role model educational principles.
